The hourly rate: The current 2023 season price is $125 per hour for the trip including all passengers. There is a minimum of 1 1/2 hours. The usual time for an enjoyable experience is 2 to 3 hours however this can be tailored to meet your needs.
Number of passengers: We are certified to carry 6 passengers. This is the standard certification and passenger limit held by most charter boats.
Age of passengers and wearing of life jackets: There is a type I offshore life jacket on-board for all adults and children. Anybody 10 years of age or younger is required to wear a life jacket at all times. Infants should not travel on a boat until they are at least 18 lbs. and can wear a life jacket. This is usually between 4 and 11 months old. You would need to provide your own life jacket for very young group members.
Food and drink: You are very welcome to bring along a cooler with all the food and beverages you like. We can stop for a picnic in a quiet anchorage, drop you off on an island, or you can eat, drink, and be merry (but not too merry) along the way. Please be aware that there is no food or beverage provided other than bottled water. There will be a cooler onboard if you wish to use it. Please note that for reasons of safety and insurance you can only consume your beverages from something other than a glass container. Any glass containers will need to be safely stored while on the cruise.
Swimming: Although swimming can be very refreshing and fun, unfortunately because of insurance, it can’t be done from the boat. However there are several islands that have beaches where I can tie the boat to a dock and this would give you a chance to go for a swim.
Payment: After the cruise payment can be made at the dock by cash, check, Zelle, Venmo or Paypal. Paying by credit card might be possible but please have an alternative way to pay if CC is a problem due to internet connectivity.
Cancellations: Cancellations are possible by calling or texting Captain Joe at 207 751 6501, the sooner the better. Since no deposit is required, you will not be penalized for a cancellation.
Weather related issues: Fog, wind, and inclement weather can affect a good day on the water. Because of this we are willing to work with our customers to either change the time of day, length of cruise, choose a different day or cancel if necessary. Feel free to contact us with any concerns and we’ll do the same if we need to contact you.
Gift Certificates: If you are interested in purchasing a gift certificate for somebody it is easy to do. We can mail (post or email) a gift certificate which the party can use however they wish. Contact us to make the arrangements.
